Voice of Maslon

The Maslon Summer Associate Program has been full of welcoming attorneys, interesting and concrete projects, and daily opportunities to expand my knowledge base. I came into the summer program knowing I wanted to practice transactional law and from the very first day was given a wide variety of real projects in that practice area. Beyond the projects, the attorneys were eager to mentor me and gave me a plethora of opportunities to learn from sitting in on client calls to introduction sessions on corporate topics and more. And between all of that there were plenty of social events – both as a group and on my own with attorneys were I got to learn about the culture of the firm and enjoy my summer. Throughout the summer I felt supported, guided, and mentored. The structure of having three mentors and three program coordinators made it so there was never a time I didn’t feel like I had an attorney to turn to. And if all of them were busy Angie was always there to answer my question. The best word I can use to describe Maslon is transparent – no one is hiding the ball and they are ready to have you jump in and take a shot. I can’t say enough great things about my summer at the firm!
