Overview
Yujin Jang is an attorney in the Corporate & Securities Group who advises clients on contract drafting and negotiation, compliance issues, and general corporate law. Her background in international trade informs her approach to common and uncommon business challenges and how to successfully manage them.
A natural leader, Yujin held several positions while studying for her law degree at Penn State Law. She served as director of professional development for the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, as senior editor of the Penn State Law Review, and as secretary for the Disability Law Caucus. Also during law school, Yujin interned with a global pharmaceutical distributor, where she gained experience reviewing distribution contracts and non-disclosure agreements, drafting legal compliance guidelines, and learning about trademark portfolio management.
Yujin earned her bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Macalester College. Before attending law school, Yujin returned to South Korea—where she spent much of her childhood—and worked as an international trade manager, a role that included negotiating contracts with manufacturers from around the world and auditing international contracts for compliance with import regulations.
