Overview
Nate Ajouri helps fiduciaries and individuals navigate through often complex probate and estate litigation matters. He also works with various organizations in business, commercial, and municipal litigation. He assists his clients at all stages of the litigation process and works closely with them to help them achieve their goals, often drawing on his experiences living and studying internationally to approach his clients' concerns from unique angles.
Nate received his law degree, summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While at law school, he completed more than 150 volunteer hours with the Minnesota Justice Foundation and was a published author with the Cybaris Intellectual Property Law Review. He also interned for the Honorable Edward T. Wahl of the Hennepin County District Court during his last semester of law school. Nate earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and music technology from Keele University in Staffordshire, UK. While there, he founded the Music Technology Society. In high school, Nate volunteered with United Service Organizations Inc. (USO) and performed a variety of tasks to help the United States and United States ally soldiers during their rest and relaxation schedules in Dubai, UAE.
Experience
- Seshadri Raju, M.D., P.A. v. Medtronic, Inc., Case No. 3:17-cv-357, 2021 WL 1232102 (S.D. Miss. March 31, 2021). Successfully obtained summary judgment dismissing Plaintiff's trade secrets misappropriation claims, and preventing Plaintiff from seeking statutory damages or attorney's fees on copyright infringement claims. Also obtained a ruling striking Plaintiff's expert witness reports, while denying Plaintiff's request to strike Defendant's expert report.
