Maslon Welcomes Attorney Walter T. Cosby III to Its Corporate & Securities Group

Maslon is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Walter T. Cosby III to the firm's Corporate & Securities Group.

With more than seven years of experience in private practice, Walt advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, private financings, initial public offerings, and general commercial law. He also specializes in ERISA law, including executive compensation, deferred compensation, and plan asset rules that apply to investment managers and funds.

In 2023, Walt earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation, giving him valued expertise in tax law and the role it plays in all manner of corporate transactions.

Walt earned his J.D. from Emory University and a B.A. in political science from Georgetown College in Kentucky. Prior to law school, he served as a White House intern.
