Overview

David LaBerge is an attorney in Maslon's Real Estate Group serving clients in real estate acquisitions and sales; commercial leasing; development, zoning, land use, and entitlement matters; survey and title review; entity formation; cannabis law; and real estate financing. David leverages his prior experience at a commercial title company, and as a municipal attorney, to provide additional value to his clients.

Following law school, David earned valued experience as a clerk for the Honorable Rebekka Stumme of the Carlton County District Court. Before becoming a lawyer David worked a blue-collar job building trucks in northern Minnesota.

Experience

  • Represented clients in successful sales and purchases of numerous commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
  • Represented landlords and tenants in successful lease negotiations for retail, commercial, industrial, office, and warehouse space.
  • Counseled private equity fund in numerous agricultural land sales and acquisitions.
  • Represented religious organization in acquisition of church building and commercial property in downtown Minneapolis.
  • Advised nonprofit and for-profit entities on loans, grant agreements, and successful real estate financing.
  • Represented commercial and agricultural land holders in easement, license, and option agreement negotiations.

Honors
