Overview

David LaBerge is an attorney in Maslon's Real Estate Group serving clients in real estate acquisitions and sales; commercial and agricultural leasing; zoning, land use, and entitlement matters; survey and title review; and real estate financing. With a solutions-oriented approach, David leverages his experience in complex acquisitions and negotiations to help clients achieve their goals through efficient, responsive, and quality representation.

Following law school, David earned valued experience as a clerk for the Honorable Rebekka Stumme of the Carlton County District Court. Before becoming a lawyer David worked a blue-collar job building trucks in northern Minnesota.

Experience

  • Represented clients in successful sales and purchases of numerous commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
  • Represented landlords and tenants in successful lease negotiations for retail, commercial, industrial, office, and warehouse space.
  • Counseled private equity fund in numerous agricultural land sales and acquisitions.
  • Represented religious organization in acquisition of church building and commercial property in downtown Minneapolis.
  • Advised nonprofit and for-profit entities on loans, grant agreements, and successful real estate financing.
  • Represented commercial and agricultural land holders in easement, license, and option agreement negotiations.
