Laura Trahms-Hagen

Laura is an associate in Maslon’s Corporate & Securities Group who collaborates with corporate clients to achieve their business goals while protecting their legal interests. Laura focuses on mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, and legal compliance. She has a passion for helping small business owners and finds that these relationships are the driving force behind her work.

Laura earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she participated in the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic, Minnesota Justice Foundation’s Street Law Program, and Twin Cities Diversity in Practice. During law school, Laura also emphasized mentorship and acted as an orientation leader and formal mentor through the Women’s Law Student Association and the Well-Being Initiative. While studying for her bachelor's degree from City College of New York, Laura became intrigued by the ways in which forensic psychology intersects with the law. A social work internship with Lawyers for Children further inspired her to pursue a career as an attorney.
