Leah Kippola-Friske Appointed to the Children's Law Center of Minnesota Board of Directors

Leah Kippola-Friske, a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the Children's Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) through Dec. 31, 2024. Leah will complete the term of a former Maslon attorney. The organization's mission is to provide free legal representation for foster children and advocate for changes in the systems that affect their lives.

Leah focuses her practice on business litigation, including breach of contract, ownership disputes, fraud, defamation, and other business torts. Leah also represents clients in product liability defense, insurance disputes, and construction and real estate matters. She practices in state and federal courts nationwide and also represents clients in the appellate courts.

In addition to her board work, Leah serves as a volunteer attorney for CLC. She is an active member of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law and serves on the Law Committee of the International Claims Association.
