Jon Parritz Elected President of Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas

Maslon is pleased to announce that attorney Jon Parritz was elected president of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas (JCRC). The organization works to fight anti-Semitism and prejudice, advocate for Israel, provide Holocaust education, promote tolerance and social justice, and build bridges across the Jewish and broader communities. Maslon Partner Judah Druck and Of Counsel attorney Howard Tarkow also serve on the JCRC board.

Jon joined the firm in 1991, became a partner in 1995, and now serves as Of Counsel. Jon has more than 35 years' experience handling complex litigation and arbitration matters for individual and organizational clients in a wide variety of industries and professions, including insurance, banking, finance, manufacturing, retailing, computer forensics and digital storage, education, telecommunications, law, and medicine. He has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to resolving issues pertaining to employment, executive compensation and benefits, wage and hour law, trade-secret protection, and enforcement of non-compete and confidentiality agreements.
Jon's commitment to the local Jewish community runs deep. He has served on the JCRC board since 2016; he has chaired the Twin Cities Cardozo Society; he was a founder of the Jewish Metropolitan Council; and he served as board member and president of the Jewish Federation of Greater St. Paul. He was also recently elected to the board of the Jewish Federations of North America.
