Overview
Haley-Rose Severson is an attorney in Maslon's Litigation Group who advises clients on a range of commercial disputes and general litigation matters. She brings to her practice extensive trial experience gained as an assistant county attorney in Minnesota. In her most recent position in the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, Haley-Rose managed over 100 concurrent cases, conducting jury trials and motion hearings, presenting evidence through witnesses and exhibits, analyzing extensive discovery materials, and spearheading negotiations with opposing counsel.
At the University of Minnesota Law School, where she earned her J.D., Haley-Rose served as the co-founder and co-president of the Native American Law Students' Association and as a leader on the Student Affinity Council. She also volunteered with the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services providing legal assistance to families in ICE detention.
