Anna Barton Elected to Serve as Treasurer of the MSBA's New Lawyers Section

Anna Barton, an attorney in Maslon’s Litigation Group, has been elected to serve as treasurer of the Minnesota State Bar Association's (MSBA) New Lawyers Section for a term that began July 1, 2022. Anna's leadership helps guide the section's efforts around professional development, community outreach, and networking.

Anna advises clients on general commercial litigation matters, concentrating her practice on a wide variety of business disputes involving employment, construction, and insurance coverage cases for individual and business policyholders. In her general business litigation work, Anna focuses on serving corporate clients with a variety of needs, including representing both plaintiffs and defendants on various statutory, contract, and tort claims. In her insurance work, she has advocated for businesses facing a broad range of liabilities and losses, helping them safeguard the benefits to which they are entitled through their policies. Additionally, Anna assists corporations with internal investigations and provides advice related to state and federal compliance issues.

Anna is also an active pro bono volunteer, representing clients through the Volunteer Lawyers Network and serving as a volunteer attorney for Maslon UPLIFT: Legal Institute for Teens.
