Maslon Welcomes Attorney Gemma (Yoon Jeung) Jo to the Firm

Maslon is pleased to announce the addition of financial services attorney Gemma (Yoon Jeung) Jo to the firm.

Gemma assists clients in corporate trust representation, commercial financing transactions, debt restructurings, loan workouts, and the pursuit of creditor remedies in bankruptcy and other insolvency proceedings.

During law school at the University of Minnesota, Gemma gained valuable experience as an extern for the Honorable Kesha L. Tanabe of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the District of Minnesota and served as student director of the university's Bankruptcy Clinic, where she represented clients in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings to discharge student loans, and judgment removal. She also held leadership roles in the International Law Society and the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Gemma earned her J.D. after studying political science and international relations, as well as communication, at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
