Margo Brownell to Present at Minnesota CLE's 2014 Real Estate Institute

Maslon attorney Margo Brownell will present at the 2014 Real Estate Institute on November 13 & 14, 2014. The two-day institute is co-sponsored by Minnesota CLE and the MSBA Real Property Section.
During a morning breakout session on day two, Margo will co-present a session titled "Drafting Insurance Clauses for Real Estate Document," which will highlight the do's and don’ts of drafting insurance provisions to include in real estate documents—and the impact of language choices.
Margo Brownell is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group and head of the Insurance Litigation and Insurance Coverage Counseling Groups. She represents commercial policyholders with complex insurance claims under all types of property and liability policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, professional liability, cyber-liability, and intellectual property liability coverage. In addition, she handles complex property claims, such as those arising from major catastrophic events such as the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, as well as claims under financial institution bonds and commercial crime policies. Margo is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she teaches insurance law.
