Jevon Bindman, Peter Doely, and Nathaniel Ajouri Author Social Media Chapter in Revised Minnesota Courtroom Evidence Deskbook

Maslon attorneys Jevon Bindman, Peter Doely, and Nathaniel Ajouri have authored a chapter in the third edition of the Minnesota Courtroom Evidence Deskbook, published by Minnesota CLE. In Chapter 15, "Social Media Evidence," the attorneys discuss the use of social media evidence in litigation, how to obtain it, and the rules pertaining to it.

Jevon is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group who has taken numerous complex matters to jury verdict. He helps companies of all sizes to navigate each phase of the litigation process, and he has the skills and experience to advocate for his clients' rights at trial and on appeal. Jevon focuses his work on construction, insurance coverage, and appellate litigation as well as general commercial matters. He has significant experience with contract disputes, policyholder insurance coverage claims, and construction defect and mechanic’s lien claims. He is a frequent author and presenter on issues of trial evidence and is co-author of Volume 11A of the Minnesota Practice Series, Courtroom Handbook of Minnesota Evidence, published by Thomson West.

Peter, also a Litigation Group partner, focuses on resolving construction and insurance coverage disputes. He provides practical advice to help his clients navigate all phases of their construction projects, from contract negotiations to asserting or defending claims. He has represented a variety of participants in the construction industry, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and sureties in matters such as construction and design defect claims, delay and extra work claims, performance and payment bond claims, mechanics liens, and bid protests. He also advises clients on federal and state compliance issues.

Nate helps fiduciaries and individuals navigate often complex probate and estate litigation matters. He also works with a broad spectrum of organizations in business, commercial, and municipal litigation. Nate is dedicated to helping clients through all stages of the process, working closely with them to achieve their goals.
