Eran Kahana to Serve on Panel for Strafford's "Licensing Artificial Intelligence Systems" Webinar

Eran Kahana, a cybersecurity and intellectual property lawyer in Maslon's Business & Securities Group, will serve as a panelist for Strafford Publication's "Licensing Artificial Intelligence Systems" webinar on Thursday, March 8, 2018. During the presentation, the authoritative panel of IP attorneys will examine the IP challenges raised when licensing AI and how these licensing agreements differ from traditional software and IP licensing agreements. The panel will also discuss the key provisions, including rights to the product of AI systems and liability for infringement "committed" by AI.
Eran, a fellow at Stanford Law School, counsels clients on a wide variety of matters related to cybersecurity, technology law, trademarks, patents, and copyright issues. He also serves in a variety of cybersecurity thought-leadership roles and works closely with the FBI, Department of Justice, Secret Service, and colleagues from the private and academic sectors to set, promote, and sustain cybersecurity best practices. At Stanford Law School, Eran writes and lectures on the intersect between law and artificial intelligence and is a frequent speaker at Stanford's annual E-Commerce Best Practices Conference.
