Terry Newby to Present at The Network of Trial Law Firm's Litigation Management: A Helping Hand on the Rio Grande Program

Terry Newby, partner in Maslon's Litigation Group, will present at The Network of Trial Law Firm's "Litigation Management: A Helping Hand on the Rio Grande" seminar in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, in April 2019. Throughout his presentation, titled "Intellectual Property – What to Reveal, and What to Keep Secret," Terry will explain the difference between patents and trade secrets, the benefits and disadvantages of each, and how savvy in-house counsel can decide which is the best tool to protect and manage critical intellectual property assets.
Terry has extensive experience assisting clients with intellectual property, e-commerce, and complex commercial litigation needs. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country in a broad range of infringement matters involving patent, trademark, copyright, and trade dress as well as licensing disputes. In addition, Terry has taken intellectual property matters to trial, including federal jury trials in patent infringement, trademark infringement, and false advertising cases under the Lanham Act. His clients include software companies, consumer products companies, e-commerce and emerging technology companies, and medical device companies.
