Maslon has had the pleasure of representing Amano Pioneer Eclipse Corporation (APEC) as mergers and acquisitions counsel since 2013, working directly with the executive team to provide both strategic and tactical advice.

APEC is a worldwide leader in the design and production of commercial floor care equipment and chemicals. In 2023, APEC called on Maslon's Corporate & Securities Group to execute its acquisition of HireTech, a United Kingdom–based manufacturer of wood floor sanding machines for the tool rental (hire) market. The transaction proved to be a complicated cross-border deal involving three continents.

A team of Maslon attorneys led by Terri Krivosha and Susan Markey worked on the acquisition for many months, during which time they served as liaisons to a firm in the U.K. that provided local advice as needed. The deal closed successfully in September 2023.
