Steve Schleicher, Partner and Chair of the Investigations & White Collar Defense Group, will reflect on two highly publicized criminal cases Jan. 27 at the mid-winter conference of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. In his presentation, titled "Advocacy in Historic Cases: From Jacob Wetterling to George Floyd," Steve discusses the cases and shares strategies for being an effective advocate when the world is watching.

Steve prosecuted Danny Heinrich for charges related to the abduction and murder of 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling and Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd. He is a renowned trial lawyer who concentrates his work on high stakes criminal and civil litigation, internal investigations, white collar defense, and appellate practice.
