Stephanie Laws and Katie Maechler Co-Author Article on Practical Guidance for Snap Removal to Federal Court

Maslon Partners Stephanie Laws and Katie Maechler, co-chairs of the Tort & Product Liability Group, have co-authored an article for the winter issue of the American Bar Association's Product Liability Litigation newsletter. In the article, "Snap Removal: Key Practical Considerations," they offer guidance to product liability defense attorneys considering snap removal to federal court and explain that while snap removal is gaining more acceptance, it is not without risks.

She has particular expertise defending major medical device manufacturers’ FDA-approved devices in claims centered on medical device safety notifications and recalls, including significant experience deposing fact witnesses, healthcare providers, and medical, technical, and human factors experts.
