Maslon represented the shareholders of woodworking supplier Holdahl Company in their sale of the company to strategic buyer Würth Baer Supply Company, one of the nation’s leading specialty wholesale distributors to the woodworking industry and a subsidiary of Germany-based Würth Group. The deal closed on March 16, 2023.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Holdahl had been in business since 1949 and built a rich tradition as a reliable and innovative woodworking supplier in the Upper Midwest and several eastern Great Plains states. In addition to a second Minneapolis facility, Holdahl had sites in Fargo, Sioux Falls, Omaha, and Des Moines.

With its acquisition of Holdahl, Würth geographically expanded its core woodworking and woodworking machinery business in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, and northwest Illinois.

The Maslon team involved in this deal included Susan Markey, Terri Krivosha, and Jessica Karp.
