"If paternity can be determined by clear and convincing evidence through DNA, the child would be recognized as Prince's sole heir and receive the assets through intestate succession," Susan stated.

Susan stated she "doesn't think any of the lawyers involved will 'fan the fire' of any discord among the siblings…," adding "If the siblings can't agree, the personal representative will be going to court a lot."

"The court order being signed today does not mean that Prince actually died intestate," Susan told the Daily News."

Susan shares that the deadline for producing a will is three years, adding "it's a long time actually."

"It was 6 days after [Michael Jackson] had passed away that someone finally produced his will," Susan shared.

"If he left no will or trust, divvying up his fortune could get complicated," Susan shared.

Following the tragic news of Prince's death, Susan was contacted by Minnesota Public Radio to provide commentary for an article examining the legendary musician's estate.
