Legal and HR Recruiting Coordinator

Maslon is seeking a full-time Legal and HR Recruiting Coordinator. This position will provide recruitment and administrative assistance to the Legal Talent Manager and the Human Resources department.

Reports To: Legal Talent Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of the lawyer, law school student, and staff recruiting process including position postings, coordination of interview logistics such as setting up schedules and collecting forms, and feedback and applicant flow tracking.
  • On Campus Interviewing (OCI) coordination (Symplicity Registrations, travel accommodations, scheduling interviews.)
  • Provide support for new hire onboarding coordination and schedule orientation trainings.
  • Maintain the viRecruit (viDesktop) database of all incoming applicants, work allocation, and performance management.
  • Assist with coordination of the Summer Associate program and the annual firm retreat.
  • Assist with coordinating and maintaining the CLE program.
  • Assist with the professional development program.
  • Assist with the firm's Pro Bono program, schedule volunteer clinics, and track hours for Challenge and North Star Lawyers.
  • Provide support for the firm's UPLIFT: Legal Institute for Teens program.
  • Provide administrative support to the Recruitment and Diversity and Inclusion Committees.
  • Assist with maintaining personnel files.
  • Coordinate and schedule administrative meetings. Assist with check requests, filing/maintaining records, and providing support for other miscellaneous administrative projects and tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels. Strong team player.
  • Exhibit a high degree of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in human resources and/or recruiting in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
