Jessica S. Pecoraro is the head of Maslon’s Labor & Employment Group. She works with employers to obtain solutions in various types of employment disputes. She has practiced before state and federal courts as well as several state and federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. Jessica counsels employers in numerous aspects of employment law including discrimination, FMLA, wage and hour law compliance, military leave laws, personnel policy development and review, employment agreements, drug testing, and discipline and discharge issues. She also advises employers with regard to labor issues concerning union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charge responses, and labor strikes. Jessica conducts investigations into complaints of discrimination, including harassment or other misconduct.

Jessica graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire and earned her law degree from the University of Maine. She is a member of the Minnesota and Maine Bar Associations. She regularly drafts articles to assist employers in complying with employment and labor law standards. Jessica has also been a contributing editor to the Developing Labor Law, a nationally renowned labor law treatise. Jessica was selected for inclusion on the 2015-2018 Minnesota Super Lawyers® and 2006-2014 Minnesota Rising Stars lists, and she was named a Chambers USA "Notable Practitioner in Minnesota for Labor & Employment" in 2011-2018.
