As a member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group, Sam Cook focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and general counsel services. He received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he served as a senior editor of the University of St. Thomas Law Journal. Sam was also named a President's Scholar and Dwyer-Kanca Law Scholar, and he volunteered for the Minnesota Justice Foundation. Sam earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota.

Prior to his undergraduate studies, Sam recorded music and toured as lead guitarist in a piano-driven rock band.
