Maslon Law Firm Elects Governance Committee

The law firm of Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP, is pleased to announce that Cooper Ashley, David Herr and Terri Krivosha were re-elected to the firm's Governance Committee. Terri Krivosha has been re-elected Chair of the Governance Committee.
Cooper Ashley is a partner in Maslon's Litigation Group. His practice is focused primarily on products liability matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, and policyholder insurance coverage cases. As he has for over twenty years, Cooper continues to litigate significant fire and explosion cases. He also has significant trial experience in historic preservation litigation. Cooper's courtroom experience is extensive: numerous first-chair jury and bench trials in state and federal courts; appellate arguments before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals (en banc); the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals; binding arbitrations; successful mediations in well over one hundred cases; and related discovery and motion practice. Cooper has appeared in court on behalf of clients in multiple jurisdictions, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, Texas, Nevada, Florida and North Dakota. Cooper is a 1980 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law.
David Herr is a highly regarded appellate lawyer and complex case litigator. He is frequently sought out to provide practical and sophisticated advice on how to resolve difficult, multi-party disputes in trial courts and arbitral forums, as well as in the appellate courts. David, who is President-Elect of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, regularly argues cases in the Minnesota appellate courts and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. He annotates the Federal Judicial Center's Manual for Complex Litigation, published and distributed nationally by West Group. David is a 1978 cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law.
Terri Krivosha assists businesses of all sizes to realize their goals, including initial formation, capitalization, growth through merger or acquisition, governance, and general business matters. Terri serves as a valued business advisor to her clients to structure transactions to be win-win for all parties. She also represents companies as they negotiate joint ventures, distribution agreements, licensing transactions and other complex relationships. She has a particular knowledge of Israelis and their language and culture, and can serve as a valuable bridge to investors in Israeli companies, or the companies themselves. Terri is a 1983 cum laude graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
