Kathleen Crowe Eick is a member of Maslon's Business & Securities Group and Advertising & Marketing Group, focusing her practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions, business counseling, financing transactions, securities offerings, and general commercial contract drafting. She frequently assists clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including reverse mergers, acquisitions of operating business units, and sales of companies to strategic buyers.

Kathleen's work with clients is enhanced by her experience working as an investment banker with Credit Suisse's Private Fund Group in London prior to law school. In this role, she performed financial analysis and due diligence on behalf of private equity funds seeking portfolio investments, including company valuations, market and geographic trend research and sector-specific return assessments.

Kathleen is a 2012 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center where she was a contributor to the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. Kathleen earned her bachelor's degree, with a double major in public policy studies and Arabic language and culture from Duke University. She has also studied at Qatar University in Doha, Qatar and The American University of Cairo in Egypt. Kathleen speaks Spanish and several dialects of Arabic language. While in Cairo, Kathleen volunteered at the Center for Egyptian Women's Legal Assistance. She developed and presented information to women regarding their legal rights, and researched and authored reports on Egypt's existing family law and its current impact on Egyptian women.
