Maslon is pleased to announce that Diana Marianetti Ringuette, attorney in Maslon's Estate Planning Group, has been named a 2016 "Up & Coming Attorney" by Minnesota Lawyer. The recognition highlights lawyers in their first 10 years of practice who have already distinguished themselves by their achievements. The criteria for selection includes professional accomplishment and leadership service to the community and the profession.
Diana practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She works with families and businesses to design and prepare comprehensive estate plans through wills, trust agreements, and other related documents. In addition to her work in the Estate Planning Group, Diana is also a member of Maslon's Litigation Group, assisting clients with disputes involving fiduciary duties, trusts, and probate. Diana's prior experience in the area of complex commercial litigation brings unique perspective to such disputes.
Diana actively contributes to the profession through presentations and publications—most recently acting as a co-presenter on "Trust Construction" for Minnesota CLE's Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law 40 seminar in February 2016. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she teaches Wills & Trusts Skills to law students.
Diana exhibits extraordinary dedication to the equality of women in business and law. She serves on both the TeamWomenMN's Young Professionals Board and the planning committee for YWCA Circle of Women, and participates in WPO's partnership with Women's Entrepreneurial Experience—a mentoring program aimed at educating young women ages 18-30 about the world of entrepreneurialism and small business. Her commitment to giving back to the community is similarly steadfast through pro bono legal work in a variety of capacities, including volunteering with both Minnesota Wills for Heroes and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid.
